Jack, thank you for caring about the insurance industry. I agree that dealing with HOAs and city officials can be difficult especially when historic homes or high value homes are involved. However, please refrain from Nazi references. What dispute about a historic home or a high value home led government officials to commit genocide or unconstitutional imprisonment? Also, our climate is getting worse and creating greater financial losses as well as the U.S.’s coastline is receding so more flood map efforts are needed. There is no perfect way to address all flood issues.

If the homeowners bought “flood insurance” they didn’t receive “US taxpayer funds” did they?
