NBIS, a provider of specialty construction insurance and risk management will now offer coverage for the specialized transportation/heavy haul industry through a new market parntnership with the member companies of reinsurer SCOR.
The specialized transportation business is defined as open trailer, over-size/over-weight/over – dimensional loads, heavily permitted, escorted loads. Typical commodities include: machinery, industrial components, wind farm components, large oilfield equipment and heavy equipment.
Coverage lines provided for this program offered exclusively by NBIS & member companies of SCOR include admitted and non-admitted commercial auto coverage, and non-admitted commercial general liability, inland marine and follow form commercial excess casualty.
Program coverage offered to continental U.S. states (excludes Hawaii).
NBIS is the provides coverage to the heavy construction industry and is the endorsed provider for the Specialized Carriers & Riggers Association (SC&RA).
