I think Bob is one of the smartest and most insightful insurance professionals out there. But in this case he is wrong. There is no way 2021 is going smoothly, better, “stronger” or any of that for the insurance industry. In fact, it’s pretty clear that it will be tumultuous at best. In the State of Florida there is really no end in sight with our currrent property and business auto problems.

I wouldn’t say he was wrong, I would say the fluidity of the economic calculus has never seemed quite so dynamic. The world looks very different to me today than it did on Nov. 4. And I’ve seen the risk & insurance business get knocked down and come back better and stronger every single time. …and come on dude… Florida – its own unique kettle of fish.
