Just learned late last week, 2 of my 3 daughters have tested positive. 3 different friends and their families have contracted it. I have to take care of my girls so looking pretty inevitable for me. Hopefully when the new leadership takes hold in January, we can finally take the necessary measures to beat this and get back to somewhat of a sense of normalcy. Cases are skyrocketing!

So sorry to hear that. Hoping they just have a mild case, don’t have any serious long-term health issues, and you’re able to avoid it. Presuming the Pfizer drug is as good as the reports are, I’m really hopeful about this pandemic for the first time since, well, ever. Still need to mask up and social distance, but that was definitely good news (at least so far, since it hasn’t been peer reviewed, they haven’t made the data available yet or anything like that).

Wow, Captain. I’m really sorry to hear. I hope their recoveries are swift and you stay out of harm’s way.

I appreciate all of the kind words. I hit a brick wall yesterday while working. Fatigue, headache, fever, and my entire upper body just sore and by that, I mean moving my limbs and to the touch. Periodic light-headedness, which is disorienting. It’s odd. Getting a test today to verify and so I can update my family’s quarantine time frame. The girls so far are holding in okay. The worst of it for them seem to be stomach related. Pfizer news is good, though, I’m always nervous about vaccinations being rushed through with side effects occurring further down the road. Some people who need that vaccination most may not need to be as concerned about that and I think it should be reserved for those who have severe symptoms.
