      Yup and more taxes too based on the number of miles driven. It’s starts on page 508 of the 2700 plus page bill.

    What does this have to do with repairing and upgrading bridges, roads, and utilities?

    Can someone sincerely explain why you may think the gov’t trying to stop drunk drivers before they get on the road, and stop people accidentally killing their kids by locking them in hot cars, is a bad thing?

      Because when the technology fails, as it inevitably will, sober drivers will end up with a defective-by-design vehicle that they can’t even drive to the repair shop.
