Look forward to the class action lawsuits to begin. Good luck with that ‘rule’!

Federal government employees are exempt as well as Illegals and Afghan’s, but employers with 100 or more employees mandated? The military required to vax? Double standard and hypocrisy!

Some people die from cancer, others die from heart issues, and some will die from CV. It is a basic fact of life that we all will die at some point from something, but the hot button for fearmongering now is CV..

If you have cancer or, say, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and you breathe on me, do I now have that disease and I can give it to my wife and kids too?

Have you ever gone to work sick and given your cold to someone in the office? I’m sure you have because the mentatlity in this country is that I am too important to stay home or if you work for a company that gives you PTO, you save all your days for vaccation. I am vaccinated and have Covid currently. The vaccine does not prevent Covid! Mandating my health choices is not up to the government. I understand why people are hesitant. Both our current president and vice president were against the vaccines when Trump was in office. Seriously, you can’t have it both ways!

Nobody has EVER said the vaccine is 100% effective against C19.

It is a risk mitigation tool along the lines of a seatbelt (you can still die in a car accident if you wear one) or a condom (you can still get pregnant and catch an STD if you wear one).

I’d think people posting on an insurance website would understand the difference between risk mitigation and risk avoidance, but apparently not.

Also, neither Pres or VP has been against the vaccine – just that they don’t trust Trump as the end-all-be-all of its efficacy or safety.

There’s a big difference between “I don’t trust what this snake oil salesman is telling me about the product” and “I’d trust it if the FDA and our infectious disease experts review the data and say it’s safe.”

I haven’t seen a co-worker in person in 18 months and regularly work from home. My brother has a restaurant and deals with customers every day. But because my employer has more than 100 employees and he only has 15, only one of us is required to get the vaccine. Who has the bigger exposure/risk?
