Many if not most States have laws or regulations prohibiting carriers from cancelling policies mid=term ,or non-renewing them, unless there is a justifiable reason – and a potential loss like this would not qualify. . .

The history of wildfires did not start in 1990 or 1900. Wildfires have been happening in the West before California was a State and for thousands of years. Will wildfires stop if the entire world stopped burning fossil fuels? No. California has 40 million people and some decide to live close to a forest that has been poorly managed for decades. Unfortunately, these fires will never stop. And the climate change activists (including the author) will never accept the fact that forest fires will continue to be horrible because of bad management of forests and the fact that climate change/global warming has very little to do with this issue.

Always blaming their problems on climate change, when poor management of forests and government actually are the real problem.
