Global insurance broker Aon and CarrierHQ, an Indianapolis-based portal for transportation fleets that offers insurance programs and other services, have launched Last Mile Delivery insurance program.
The program provides operators in the last mile delivery space with custom and continuous coverage, eliminating the need for frequent policy renewals while only requiring a premium payment when vehicles are in use.
The Last Mile Delivery program includes commercial auto, cargo liability, general liability and workers’ compensation from Vanliner Insurance Co.
CarrierHQ’s platform offers online quoting, buying and binding of policies that offer monthly in-term adjustments based on driving data.
The Last Mile program expands upon the Small Fleet Advantage program developed by CarrierHQ in partnership with Aon for owner-operator and small fleet trucking companies.
