Today Insurance Journal has announced the launch of a new portal highlighting charitable stories in the insurance industry. What was once a single magazine issue dedicated to showcasing insurance industry generosity is now a regular destination on the highest trafficked insurance news site in the world.
10% of the proceeds of the monthly portal sponsorship will benefit the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit which helps communities and enriches lives by uniting the collective strengths of the insurance industry.
“The insurance industry does so much good both in their communities and in the world at large”, said Andrea Wells, editor in chief, who helped spearhead the charity portal. “Now we have a larger platform to showcase more examples of the industry’s generosity. These stories are all so uplifting. I think we can use more good news, don’t you?”
Story highlights on how the industry gives back will be featured on Insurance Journal’s massive daily e-newsletter, sent to 82,000-plus subscribers. You can view these stories, and upload your own stories of how insurance gives back at: insurancejournal.com/charity/
