Say what you want about Musk’s tactics and intentions. The claim he was ‘hoodwinked’ will eventually lead to forced disclosure by Twitter on the true BOTs count. If Musk was right about being hoodwinked, the true BOT count will exceed what has been reported to date.
As we all know, BOTs are used for nefarious purposes and to advance an agenda…. like those previously used on this IJ site a few years back to pad downvote counts on posts by Conservatives. Thankfully, IJ’s IT support was able to block BOTs on here. Twitter may not have even tried to purge any BOTs. We’ll eventually know which side is right.
The program Musk used to estimate bots on twitter also thought his account was a bot.
Just because you hate twitter because you don’t understand social media and they rightfully banned the orange baboon doesn’t mean Twitter is going anywhere.
