Guidewire and Earnix announced that the two companies have launched a collaborative effort to facilitate faster adoption and increased ongoing performance of their shared offerings. Earnix is a global provider of real-time AI-driven rating, analytical underwriting, dynamic pricing, product personalization, and fully operationalized telematics solutions for Insurance and Banking. Earnix has joined Guidewire PartnerConnect as a Solution partner at the Select level.

Insurers want to engage better with customers and agents, innovate faster, and grow their business efficiently. Achieving these goals necessitates continually removing friction across the insurance lifecycle, so that insurers can move faster, whether that be introducing new or improved products, testing pricing changes, improving customer experience, or driving efficiency through automation.

Suitelife Underwriting Managers Expands Programs

Suitelife Underwriting Managers, a leading managing general underwriter for full-service hotels, premier hotels, boutique hotels, condo-hotels, resorts and hotel management companies, is pleased to announce the addition of the Franchise Hotel Program to their portfolio. Suitelife is part of the Ryan Specialty family within the underwriting managers specialty of the firm, Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania.

The Franchise Hotel Program focuses primarily on 3-star full-service franchise hotels, limited-service hotels, smaller independent hotels or boutique hotels. The Franchise Hotel Program is available in all states except Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S. Territories. The program is underwritten by an A+ rated carrier.

In addition, Suitelife has an alternative market providing coverage for inns, B&Bs, non-franchised independent hotels, hunting and fishing lodges and coastal locations.

Suitelife has also adopted an agreement with Key Risk Insurance Group (Greensboro, NC) to provide stand-alone Workers’ Compensation coverage.

Distinguished Programs Introduces New $15M Limit Option in Express Hotel Umbrella Program

Distinguished Programs announced the addition of a $15 million limit option to its Express Hotel Umbrella insurance program. The program offers broad coverages including general liability, liquor liability and auto liability with limits up to $105 million. This program caters to well-maintained select-service and midscale hotels.

The new $15 million limit offering is an option for brokers who need to satisfy their client’s franchise agreement without compromising on coverage and price.

The Distinguished Express Hotel Umbrella program is available nationwide and backed by all admitted A-rated carriers. Key coverages in the program include broad form named insured coverage; assault and battery; no exclusion for legionella; abuse and molestation follow form; and limits of liability apply on a per location basis (following underlying).
