Lloyd’s Trium Cyber Appoints Batt as Head of Product

Trium Cyber, the first entity approved by Lloyd’s to launch a monoline cyber syndicate, has appointed Jeffrey Batt as head of product. As head of product, Batt will focus on underwriting capability, distribution and product development.

Before joining Trium, Batt was head of cyber strategy and large risk at AmTrust Financial Services. Batt also served as cyber insurance practice leader at M&T Bank and served at Marsh & McLennan as vice president specializing in privacy regulatory risk. Before entering private industry, Batt served as associate deputy general counsel to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, providing legal counsel to senior leadership on national security matters.

HDI Global Names Tyng New Lead of U.S. Captive Solutions

HDI Global, headquartered in Hanover, Germany, has appointed Jason Tyng to the newly created role of lead of U.S. captive solutions. Tyng is based out of Chicago, Illinois.

Tyng brings more than 15 years of sales and leadership experience across the commercial insurance industry. He joins HDI Global from Amazon, where he recently served as head of construction risk, handling placements of both international and domestic programs. His previous experience also includes roles at VW Credit, Inc., Kaiser Permanente and Aon.

SiriusPoint Appoints Sigle as Global Head of Claims

Specialty insurer and reinsurer SiriusPoint Ltd. has named Trecia Sigle as global head of claims, effective Feb. 6.

Sigle will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the claims function across SiriusPoint’s diverse global underwriting portfolio. This encompasses policy and governance, claims handling, and best practices across all jurisdictions.

Sigle joins SiriusPoint team from CNA Financial Corporation, where she was vice president of TPA and Multinational Claims.

Hub International Hires Halliburton as Chief HRO

Hub International Limited (HUB)announced Amy Halliburton has joined as chief human resources officer. Halliburton will be responsible for all HUB human resource strategic initiatives including talent acquisition and management.

Halliburton with the HUB HR team will support more than 16,000 employees and oversee all aspects of human resources including recruitment, learning and development, recognition and retention, diversity, and total rewards.

Most recently, she was vice president human resources for Gallagher’s U.S. Brokerage division and prior to that was Human Resources Director for Aon Hewitt.
