Liberty Mutual Names Korte to New Underwriting Leadership Position
Liberty Mutual Insurance has appointed Dieter Korte as Global Risk Solutions North America chief underwriting officer, middle market.
Korte has more than 30 years of underwriting and leadership experience. Before Liberty Mutual, Korte led CNA Financial’s middle market team and was senior vice president, global excess casualty manager at Chubb NA, where he spent 25 years. In this newly created role, Korte is responsible for underwriting performance across all middle-market products.
CFC Appoints Bailey Cyber Underwriting Leader
CFC, the specialist insurance provider focused on emerging risk and cyber, has appointed Scott Bailey as cyber underwriting leader. In this newly created role, Bailey will be responsible for the strategic underwriting management of CFC’s entire cyber portfolio.
Bailey returns to CFC after almost ten years at Markel International, the last four as managing director of its cyber division and a year as European underwriting director for technology/cyber at CNA Europe. He previously spent 12 years at CFC managing the technology and media division.
