WKFC Promotes Singhvi to President and Bauer to COO
WKFC Underwriting Managers, Ryan Specialty’s managing general underwriter headquartered in Melville, New York, has made two promotions in its senior leadership.
Ravi Singhvi has been promoted to president of WKFC underwriting managers. Singhvi joined WKFC in 2018 and was most recently the MGU’s chief operation officer. Before WKFC, Singhvi served as vice president of analytics at AJG/RPS from 2011-2018. He began his insurance career at NAPCO LLC, where he worked from 2001 to 2011.
Joan Bauer has been named chief operating officer. Bauer has been with WKFC since 2010, initially training as an underwriter before being promoted to vice president, deductible payback lead and property underwriter. Before WKFC, Bauer was a vice president and property broker for AmWINS Brokerage of the Carolinas.
AmTrust Adds Surian and White to Commercial Lines Division
AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., a global specialty property casualty insurer headquartered in New York, has named two additions to its commercial lines team.
Ken Surian joins AmTrust as senior vice president, product management. He most recently served as vice president, small commercial state product management at Travelers. Surian also held product management positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance, OneBeacon Insurance, Unitrin Insurance (now Kemper) and Leader Insurance.
Brian White joins AmTrust as vice president, product strategy. He most recently served as director P&C, product & underwriting at Nationwide, where he held positions as business owners’ policy product and underwriting director and director of strategy for all lines.
