EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, the San Francisco-based retail property/casualty insurance brokerage and employee benefits consultant, announced the expansion of its Financial Services division with the launch of its Insurance Capital Solutions (ICS) group.

The Insurance Capital Solutions group brings together highly experienced, dedicated teams and a depth of expertise across multiple disciplines to provide a coordinated approach for the challenges faced by clients in a rapidly evolving and increasingly complex risk environment, the company said.

To foster collaboration and leverage cross-functional expertise, ICS will align and coordinate origination, placement, and service capabilities across four key business lines: Professional, Executive and Cyber, Transactional Risk, Capital Advisory, and Financial Services Industry Advisory.

As a result of the formation of ICS, several organizational changes and new leadership appointments have been made:

  • Kelly Geary will serve as the National Practice Leader of the Professional, Executive and Cyber Solutions group;
  • John Prentis will serve as National Growth Leader;
  • Larry Bowlus will serve as National Public D&O Leader;
  • Michael Klaschka will serve as National Financial Institutions group leader; and
  • Vincent Caracciolo will serve as National Claims and Coverage Advocacy Leader.

Greylen Erlacher Mardy will continue to lead Transactional Risk Solutions; Quentin Hills will continue to lead Capital Advisory Solutions; and Nancy Rodrigues will serve as a senior adviser to the expanded Financial Services division, overseeing the Financial Services Industry Advisory practice, which advises on risk management issues facing the financial services industry.

“This organizational redesign sets us up for accelerated growth in the Financial Services industry and establishes new leadership eager to put an innovative and forward-thinking mark on risk management for our clients,” said Philip V. Moyles Jr., chief growth officer and president of EPIC’s Financial Services division. “The shift reinforces our core strategies for growth and reflects our strength, intellectual capital, and robust collaborative relationships within the Financial Services division.”
