Allianz Exec Ryan to Succeed Donnell as NCCI President and CEO

The board of NCCI Holdings, Inc. elected Tracy Ryan as its new president and CEO, effective January 6, 2025.

Bill Donnell, the company’s current president and CEO, is retiring in February 2025.

Boca Raton, Florida-based NCCI said Ryan has more than 30 years of industry experience and is currently president and CEO of Allianz Commercial, North America & Latin America. She also served in various leadership positions during her 27 years with Liberty Mutual Insurance, including president of Global Risk Solutions, North America.

“For more than 100 years, [NCCI] has been the source for trusted information, analysis, tools, and a workers compensation infrastructure that the industry knows it can rely upon. I am humbled and excited to help NCCI carry on this proud legacy,” Ryan said.

Lisa Corless, former NCCI board chair and president and CEO of AF Group, headed the NCCI search committee and said Ryan is “a proven leader with deep industry experience who also appreciates the vital role NCCI plays for the industry. And she understands the rich culture and history that make NCCI a special place to work.”

Donnell said that leading NCCI for the last nine years was the “highlight” of his career. Richard Lavey, NCCI board chair, said Donnell’s leadership “evolved NCCI’s culture and positioned the organization for success as it enters its second century of service to the industry.”
