Liberty Mutual Insurance, based in Boston, appointed Dieter Korte as president, middle market, Global Risk Solutions North America (GRS NA), reporting to GRS NA President Marc Orloff.
“These companies have the same exposures as larger organizations but often have fewer resources and tighter margins. We add value to mid-size companies – and the agents and brokers who serve them – by helping them understand the risks they face, and the best ways to mitigate and manage those exposures,” said Orloff, who previously led the middle market segment.
Korte previously served as middle market chief underwriting officer and as interim president of that group since Orloff was named to lead GRS NA. He has more than 30 years experience developing risk solutions for mid-sized companies.
