Marinello named ReSource Pro Senior Director, Partnerships and Advisory

ReSource Pro, headquartered in New York City, appointed Rob Marinello as senior director of partnerships and advisory. Marinello will spearhead the expansion and formalization of the company’s partnership program.

Marinello has over two decades of experience across the insurance and technology sectors, including roles at Ivans, a division of Applied Systems. He has built and managed partnerships involving carriers, MGAs, agents, and brokers, with a focus on automation, data integration and operational enablement.

United Risk Makes Additions to Leadership Team

United Risk, headquartered in New York City, made several additions to its leadership team.

Hayden Smith, promoted to CEO of United Risk worldwide, previously served as VP of M&A at Enstar Group and earlier as head of Ceded Reinsurance for StarStone (a global specialty carrier jointly owned by Enstar and Stone Point Capital).

Andrew Lucas, appointed United Risk’s general counsel, was formerly a partner at Clyde & Co LLP, advising insurance-sector clients on companies-market and Lloyd’s matters, including mergers and acquisitions, as well as commercial, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.

Gregg Holtmeier, appointed chief commercial officer (CCO), most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer at BMS. Previously, Holtmeier served as Global Head of Casualty for JLT Re.

Patrick Watson, appointed chief operating officer (COO) has over 21 years of experience in insurance company operations, including sales and product development. Previously, Watson held leadership positions at Applied Underwriters, most recently as director of program development.
