Marsh Risk Expands US Surety Team With 3 Leadership Appointments

Jimmy Tse

Marsh Risk, headquartered in New York City, made three leadership appointments.

Jimmy Tse was named U.S. financial institutions surety growth leader. Tse has 20 years of experience in financial institutions, with expertise in developing integrated strategies that connect financial institutions with surety markets. Prior to joining Marsh, he led ANZ’s Funds and Insurance Coverage business. Based in New York, Tse will report to Carrick Bligh, U.S. surety financial institutions leader.

Caroline Jardim

Caroline Jardim was named U.S. multinational surety leader. Jardim has nearly 20 years of specialized experience in the reinsurance market. She joins from Marsh Risk Brazil, where she most recently served as credit specialty leader. Based in New York, she will also report to Curran.

Drew Vann

Drew Vann was named U.S. construction surety leader. Based in Atlanta, Vann will report to Fran Curran, U.S. Surety Leader at Marsh Risk, where he will support US construction clients with strategies to enhance credit capacity and manage financial risk. He has over 20 years of experience, joining Marsh Risk from Arthur J. Gallagher, where he served as president and director of surety for the specialty Americas division.

AXA XL Appoints Billingslea as Head of Energy, E&S

AXA XL, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, appointed Jason C. Billingslea as head of energy, E&S, where he will lead the development and growth of the energy sector team.

Based in Dallas, where he most recently served as an Energy Liability Underwriter at AXA XL, Billingslea has years of experience in E&S Energy, previously serving as general agency manager of growth and development at Horace Mann Educators Corporation and regional sales manager at AmTrust Financial Services.

Nixon Joins KCC Leadership Team

KCC, headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, hired Deanne Nixon as senior vice president.

Nixon, based in Jacksonville, Florida, started her reinsurance career as an underwriter for CNA Re and moved to Bermuda in 2006 with White Mountains Re (Sirius International), where she rose to senior vice president and then president of Sirius Capital Markets. Later in her career, Nixon was chief underwriting officer and then CEO of a Florida insurer. Most recently, she has provided strategic consulting and advisory services to leading firms, including Cincinnati Re and Arbol.
