The Texas Department of Insurance has announced an updated plan to implement bills passed in the 76th and 77th sessions of the Texas Legislature affecting various areas of the Texas Insurance Code.
Bills to be implemented will affect agent licensing, auto, bind, consumer protection, fire marshal, and fraud areas of the code, among others. Other areas affected include legal, liability, property, rates, windstorm, and workers’ compensation.
