The Texas Department of Insurance will host its 9th Annual Opportunity Fair Aug. 13, 2002 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 333 Guadalupe, Austin, Texas.
The forum will focus on professional services for TDI’s special duty receivers (SDR) program, in which SDRs are contracted to manage insolvent insurance companies. SDRs must have the necessary accounting and financial expertise to maintain the estate at an effective financial level. They also may employ outside subcontractors with the necessary skills and expertise to assist in operating insolvent insurance companies.
