The Texas Workers’ Compensation Commission has scheduled a public hearing for Oct. 16, at which testimony will be heard on amendments to rules that were proposed at the Commission’s Aug. 29 public meeting.
At the October hearing, the Commission will hear testimony on the following rules:
Chapter 133 General Medical Provisions
Rule 133.305 Medical Dispute Resolution – General
Rule 133.307 Medical Dispute Resolution of a Medical Fee Dispute
Rule 133.308 Medical Dispute Resolution by Independent Review Organization Chapter 134 Benefits – Guidelines for Medical Services, Charges and Payments Rule 134.502 Pharmaceutical Services
The proposed amendments will be published in the Texas Register on Sept. 13, and may be viewed on the TWCC’s Web site, www.twcc.state.tx.us.
