The Lawyers Division of Great American Insurance Group, based in Richardson, Texas, announced the launch of an on-line continuing legal education (CLE) program for attorneys at www.greatamericanlawyer.com.
The first featured seminar, Beating the Odds on Legal Malpractice: Ethics and the Practice of Law, is designed to qualify for one-hour of ethics credit. This newest feature of the Lawyers Division Web site is currently offered in New York, Florida and Texas. Additional states will be added and courses offered once state approvals are received.
In addition to on-line applications and educational programs, Great American Insurance, which underwrites lawyers malpractice insurance, also offers risk prevention information, loss control seminars, law firm audits and group risk management packages.
Great American’s Lawyers Division writes legal malpractice insurance in 45 states and the District of Columbia, selling both direct-to-the-consumer and through select agents and program administrators.
