The Combined Agents of America LLC (CAA), a closed managing general agency based in Austin, Texas, announced the Hanover Insurance Company has signed a master contract with all 28 CAA member agencies through which they can offer a wide range of commercial coverage through Hanover products.

“Hanover Insurance is strongly committed to the state of Texas as illustrated by our new relationship with CAA. This partnership will position us to grow quickly in Texas while offering very competitive rates in such a hard market,” said Joe Palczewski, regional vice president of Hanover Insurance.

“CAA’s unique distribution system gives Hanover Insurance access to our 28 member agencies across Texas providing an efficient route by which the company can greatly increase its book of business,” said Tom McCorkle, CAA chairman and owner of McCorkle Commercial Insurance Agency, San Antonio. “We will immediately begin offering our customers competitive rates from Hanover Insurance for everything from professional liability to workers compensation.”

The Hanover Insurance Company, a property and casualty subsidiary of Allmerica Financial, underwrites and markets a wide range of property and casualty coverage for personal and business use—including auto, homeowners, workers’ compensation, commercial multiple peril policies as well as group property and casualty insurance. Licensed in all 50 states, Hanover Insurance maintains a strong presence in several U.S. regions.
