Mullis Newby Hurst LP, a Texas-based writer of construction surety bonds, appointed Ray Watson as senior vice president. He will work out of Mullis Newby Hurst’s Dallas location.
Watson recently joined Mullis Newby Hurst after owning his own surety agency since 1985. His successful surety career includes 21 years as an independent insurance and surety agent and 10 years as a bond manager and underwriter for a national surety. He received the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter in 1993.
Mullis Newby Hurst LP was formed in May 2002.
