Combined Group, a Carrollton, Texas based MGA, announced the launch of BOPExpressTM, a single entry multiple carrier Business Owners Policy (“BOP”) quoting environment. Initially, this offering will only include Travelers’ BOP product; however, other carriers will be added after launch to provide one of the most robust on-line rating services yet to be created for the P&C agent.
The Combined Group’s new instant rating platform will offer Travelers’ BOP product in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, Southern Illinois, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. More states, carriers and lines will follow shortly.
The Combined Group’s CEO, Blake Stock, commented “I am excited about what we have achieved with our carriers through our own IT professionals. It is my belief that agents want to use technology to reduce costs and increase profitability. BOP is a relatively low premium line with rather labor-intensive input. We have simplified this, and give our agents an immediate indication of whether the risk fits our carriers’ underwriting eligibility. They get quotes live—no waiting.”
Combined Group has developed this application using XML programming at its core using the company’s proprietary insurance application interview product, X-Bridge. This platform only asks the questions that are relevant to the carrier and lines of business being selected.
