Galveston Insurance Associates of Galveston, Texas reported that it was recently selected as one of three Federal Insurance & Mitigation Administration’s 2002 Agencies of the Year.
The award recognizes agencies writing flood insurance that have made significant contributions to the National Flood Insurance Program. This includes achieving superior policy growth, participating in flood awareness activities, adhering to established underwriting guidelines, and applying innovative marketing.
GIA was nominated by Patty Templeton-Jones, vice president of First Community Insurance Company. GIA’s president, Garry P. Kaufman proudly accepted the award on behalf of the agency at the National Flood Conference in San Francisco.
