Tropical Storm Claudette is heading toward the coast of Texas and could hit ground as early as Tuesday night or Wednesday morning as a “minimal hurricane,” according to the Weather Channel.
Warnings of the hurricane have been issued for the Texas coast between San Luis Pass and Baffin Bay. In addition to the high winds, Claudette will pound the surf and bring heavy rains.
