Houston-based HCC Insurance Holdings Inc. promoted Larry J. Stewart to the position of senior vice president and chief underwriting officer of its subsidiary HCC Benefits Corporation (HCCB).
According to HCC, Stewart has been with the Group since 1989 and has been vice president of HCCB’s Northwest Region based in Minneapolis, Minn. He will relocate to the HCCB home office in Atlanta.
Stewart’s position will be filled by Daniel A. Strusz who was promoted from his current position of underwriting manager of the Northwest Region. Strusz joined HCCB in 2001 and has 21 years of experience in the Life & Health industry with 14 years dedicated to Medical Stop Loss.
