Southwestern Insurance Information Service (SIIS) announced it will hold two continuing education training seminars in Houston and Dallas on the Texas FAIR Plan and the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association.
“The Seminars will be conducted by Jim Oliver, general manager of the FAIR Plan and T.W.I.A. and are scheduled for January 20, 2004 in Houston and February 3, 2004 in Dallas,” according Sandra Ray, public affairs director of SIIS.
“These Seminars will last approximately two hours, include a lunch and qualify for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for participants,” she added.
“Mr. Oliver will provide an overview of the FAIR Plan and T.W.I.A. insurance principles and coverages, the requirements and procedures for writing policies and filing claims through these programs and will discuss the Texas Department Insurance Rules Manuals and Instructions and Guidelines Manuals for both programs,” Ray said.
Registration form and seminar outline are available on the SIIS Web site at www.siisinfo.org or by calling (512) 795-8214.
