MaximInsurance Employees Earn Accreditation

December 30, 2003

Houston-based MaximInsurance announced that three employees, Karen Walker and Michelle Serrell of the League City office and Kimberly Davies of the Dickinson office, have recently earned their Independent Insurance Agents of America (IIAA) customer-service representative designations.

The Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation is an international term developed to promote and recognize the professionalism of customer-service personnel in the insurance industry.

“We’re dedicated to providing stellar customer service,” said Ron Masters, president of MaximInsurance. “We are very proud of this achievement and excited to add these three outstanding employees to the list of MaximInsurance professionals with the ACSR distinction.”

In its announcement MaximInsurance noted that the ACSR accreditation is a challenge to achieve and maintain. To qualify, the employees attended eight days of intensive insurance training and successfully completed four comprehensive exams. Following accreditation, they are required to attend a minimum of six hours of approved continuing education each year.

“With fewer than 3,000 accredited agents in Texas, we’re proud to now have 14 ACSR agents on staff at MaximInsurance,” said Masters.
