The Independent Insurance Agents of Austin and the Texas Surplus Lines Association announced that members of both organizations joined together to make donations to the Capitol Area Food Bank.
IIAA and TSLA co-sponsored the community service project during the annual Christmas luncheon hosted by IIAA on Dec. 11, 2003.
The groups collected a total of 364 pounds of food and $410 in cash, which were delivered to the food bank on the same day.
Kelli Stanford, president of IIAA, and Banos Georgiou, TSLA president, extend their thanks to the members of their respective organizations for their generous support of this joint community service effort.
