Marilyn Jacoby joined the Dallas/Fort Worth office of Farmington Hills, Mich.-based national specialty insurance wholesaler, underwriter and managing general agent Burns & Wilcox Ltd., in the position of underwriter, the company announced.
As underwriter, Jacoby is responsible for quoting, placing and servicing the branch’s wide range of excess and surplus lines. Prior to joining Burns & Wilcox, Jacoby served over 20 years in both the retail and wholesale sides of the industry.
Jacoby recently earned an associate degree as a paralegal. She has also earned certification as a certified insurance service representative (CISR).
She currently resides in Fort Worth.
