Houston-based HCC Insurance Holdings Inc. announced that Pamela J. Penny, CPA, is joining the company on Aug. 16, 2004, as senior vice president of Finance.
Penny has over 27 years of accounting experience including 12 years with KPMG where she became an audit partner. In 1991 she joined American General Corporation and served as senior vice president and controller from 1999 to 2003. Most recently she was senior vice president and controller for Aegis Mortgage Corporation.
Ed Ellis, chief financial officer of HCC, said, “We are indeed fortunate to have Pam Penny join our team. She brings with her considerable financial reporting and management experience and will be a positive addition to our financial group.”
HCC is an international insurance holding company and a specialty insurance group based in Houston, Texas with offices across the USA and in Bermuda, England and Spain.
