Jeffrey H. Skaggs joined the Houston office of Farmington Hills, Mich.-based national specialty insurance wholesaler, underwriter and managing general agent Burns & Wilcox Ltd., in the position of branch manager.
As branch manager, Skaggs is responsible for directing the overall operations of the company’s Houston branch.
Prior to joining Burns & Wilcox, he served as underwriting director of CNA Financial in Houston. With an extensive background in the insurance industry, Skaggs has also served as assistant vice president/underwriting director with Ranger Insurance Company and as profit center manager with Reliance Insurance Group, both also in Houston. He was also the territorial executive for Zurich-American Insurance in San Antonio.
