Hibernia Insurance Agency LLC, the insurance affiliate of Hibernia National Bank, announced the opening of its first Texas commercial insurance office. The office will serve the insurance and risk management needs of corporations and other commercial entities in Texas.
Hibernia currently has 105 banking locations in Texas, including a commercial financial center in North Dallas, where the new insurance office is located.
David P. Battard joined the company as senior vice president and manager of the Dallas insurance office. He has 25 years of insurance experience.
Battard’s focus is large construction, oil-and-gas and transportation insurance, and he works with Hibernia’s experts in those and other specialties to tailor comprehensive solutions for each client. In addition, he leads commercial insurance product development for Hibernia across Louisiana and Texas.
“The opening of the new Dallas insurance office strengthens Hibernia’s ability to provide a full range of products and services to current and prospective clients in Texas,” said Steve Terry, president of Hibernia Insurance. “We see many opportunities to serve local companies, and many clients find it extremely valuable to have local experts like David nearby to answer their questions and assist them in other ways.”
