Members of the of the Louisiana House Committee on Insurance and members of the Senate Committee on Insurance will hold a joint meeting on Mar. 9, 2005.
The House Committee on Insurance is chaired by Rep. Karen Carter. Sen. James David Cain chairs the Senate Committee on Insurance.
The meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Pan American Life Center, 11th Floor, Bayou Rooms – One and Two, 601 Poydras Street in New Orleans.
The committee will consider the following topics:
· Update on the flex band rating system.
· Discussion of insurance databases on claims against policies.
· How property and casualty rates are set for various regions around the state.
