Trident Insurance Offering Identity Recovery Coverage for Employees with Schools, Public Entities

Trident Insurance Services LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of San Antonio-based Argonaut Group Inc., has added identity recovery coverage to its offering of products designed for employees of public entities.

Trident has partnered with The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB), a Connecticut-based provider of specialty insurance and services, to offer identity recovery insurance as a standard part of its coverage for public entities.

The coverage combines identity theft insurance with services that help identity fraud victims restore their credit history and identity records. In addition, this coverage reimburses victims for costs they incur to resolve problems resulting from identity theft.

Trident President, Mike Arledge, commented, “Standard identity theft insurance makes the victim responsible for doing most of the work to restore their credit and identity records. Our approach alleviates this burden by focusing on recovery assistance and providing a case manager who provides services to correct the victim’s credit history and identity records. That helps reduce the stress and time related to recovering one’s identity.”
