LWCC Says Hotlines Are Open for Injured Workers, Policyholders, Agents and Providers

September 12, 2005

Expressing its concern and support for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation (LWCC) said its stands ready to provide assistance to its policy and their injured workers, as well as the company’s agents and medical providers during this time of great distress and disruption.

“We are working with our insurance industry partners including the Office of Workers’ Compensation and the Department of Insurance to make sure that we not only take care of our customers, but also do everything we can to make sure Louisiana’s insurance industry remains stable through this crisis,” said Kristin Wall, LWCC president and chief operating officer.

LWCC is conducting normal business operations in its Baton Rouge and Shreveport offices Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. LWCC may be contacted at (888) 560-LWCC (5922) or (225) 924-7788. E-mail or text messages may be sent to information@lwcc.com. LWCC’s Web address is www.lwcc.com.

Please note that due to limited phone service and increased call volume, callers may experience dropped calls or busy signals.

The following is additional contact information to make conducting business with LWCC as easy as possible:
