TSLA Annual Meeting Planned for Nov.

Marshall Leicht, president of the Texas Surplus Lines Association, announced that the association’s 2005 Annual Meeting is being held Nov. 6-7 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas.

Speakers and topics scheduled are:

–E&O Prevention: Roy Phillips, King Phillips Insurance Agency;
–Federal Versus State Regulation: The Honorable Pete Sessions, U.S. Congressman
–Tips from the Trenches (or things you should know from experienced insurance litigators): Gary Schumann, Savrick, Schumann, Johnson & McGarr.

Entertainment scheduled for Sunday evening is Don Devous and Henry Borbolla, musical and inspirational entertainers. A complete schedule of the annual meeting is available on the TSLA Web site at www.tsla.org.

Registration fees are $265 member/non-member; $215 additional attendee from same firm; $135 spouse/first time/Texans Under 40 attendees; $135 Sunday only; $190 Monday only.

Room rate at the Four Seasons Hotel is $178, single/double, plus tax, city view. Room reservation deadline is Oct.14.
