The AWCC announced plans for two important conferences for 2006, one in Little Rock and the other in Hot Springs.
The AWCC reported with Arkansas Self-Insurers Association (ASIA) that, instead of the ASIA Spring Fling and the fall AWCC Educational Conference, the two are joining forces to put on one big State of Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Conference.
It will be held Mar. 29-31, 2006, at the Hot Springs Convention Center. ASIA and the AWCC are formulating plans now for this ambitious event.
Also, the AWCC will host the annual convention of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) in Little Rock Sept. 25-29, 2006. Visitors from across the U.S. and Canada are expected.
