The Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission issued Advisory 2006-1, Update to Medical Fee Schedule, which announces a new conversion factor in the Medical Fee Schedule for anesthesia reimbursements. The conversion factor is effective Apr. 1, 2006.
From Apr. 1, 2006, through Mar. 31, 2007, the conversion factor will increase 11 percent for anesthesia fees; and, on Apr. 1, 2007, the conversion factor will increase another 11 percent.
