Kemper Auto and Home announced that it is participating in the effort to help policyholders of Texas Select Lloyds Insurance Company make the adjustment away from the recently liquidated insurer to a new insurer.
The “A” rated (A.M. Best) Unitrin subsidiary has been actively encouraging Texas Select policyholders, who must find new coverage by an Aug. 24 deadline, to contact their independent agents for a Kemper Auto and Home coverage quote on their homes as well as their automobiles and personal property.

According to the Texas Department of Insurance Web site, “People who have homeowners policies with Texas Select are encouraged to contact their insurance agent and begin shopping for new coverage immediately.”
Kemper Auto and Home offers coverage in 40 states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico.
