Oklahoma City, Okla.-based Midlands Management Corporation announced the launch of a Sustainable Farm Insurance Program, a multi-line insurance program designed to meet the unique needs of agricultural farmers following sustainable farming practices, which the company says is the first of its kind.
Underwritten by Markel Insurance Company, located in Glen Allen, Va., the program was developed after significant field research facilitated by the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, in Milheim, Pa.
