The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association and the Texas FAIR Plan Association Board of Directors announced the election of new officers for both organizations.
James Langford, vice president of Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Companies, was elected chairman; Jim Wade, president of Hollywood Hits Inc., was elected vice chairman and Corise Morrison, executive director, Residual Market Underwriting, USAA, was elected secretary-treasurer.
TWIA and the FAIR Plan are residual markets in Texas for windstorm insurance and homeowners insurance for people who are unable to secure such coverage in the voluntary market.
