New Orleans-based Hartwig Moss Benefits (HMB), division of 135 year old Hartwig Moss Insurance Agency Ltd. (HMIA), announced that Jessica Blackwell has joined its Client Service Team as client relations associate.
Blackwell, like Client Relations Manager Tammy Percle, comes to Hartwig Moss Benefits from Metropolitan Gastroenterology, a large physician group with three locations in the New Orleans area. In her years there, Blackwell gained experience working with health insurance carriers assisting patients with billing and claim resolution.
“Right now, over 75 percent of our current clients have access to a qualified high deductible plan as at least a part of their health plan offerings,” said Tom Daly, managing principal of Hartwig Moss Benefits. “This movement towards consumer driven care has caused a paradigm shift in the way patients interact with their healthcare providers and insurance companies. Having someone with Jessica’s experience and knowledge on our team will enable us to raise the service bar for our clients once again.”
