A.M. Best Company reaffirmed Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation’s “A” (Excellent) rating for 2008. In addition, LWCC has moved up from Financial Size Category IX to Financial Size Category X, the company reported.
LWCC (www.lwcc.com) is a private, nonprofit mutual insurance company. It is Louisiana’s largest writer of workers’ compensation insurance, covering about 22,000 policyholders in the state.
