America First Insurance Regional Vice President Keith Thompson has been appointed to a three-year term serving on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association (LIGA).
Five insurance company executives appointed by Louisiana insurers and four legislators chosen jointly by the state Legislature and the Louisiana Insurance Commissioner comprise the board. LIGA protects Louisiana property/casualty policyholders by providing a safety net from insurer insolvency.
America First Insurance is headquartered in Richardson, Texas, and has offices in St. Louis, Oklahoma City and Ruston, La. America First Insurance and its underwriting companies are members of Liberty Mutual Group’s Agency Markets business unit.
