Lobell Joins Insurance Marketing & Sales Society Designation Programs

March 10, 2010

Rhonda Lobell has signed on as sponsor for the American Insurance Marketing & Sales (AIMS) Society Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation programs in Louisiana and Mississippi.

A 30-year insurance industry veteran, Lobell started her career at the Louisiana Department of Insurance. Since then, she has worked at various insurance agencies, including Wright & Percy in Baton Rouge and most recently as a producer at Lobell Insurance Services in French Settlement, La.

Lobell recently transferred management of her book of business and will increase her focus on delivering sales and marketing training to agency producers, managers and CSRs. She will maintain her license and continue to produce business, even as she works to expand the CPIA professional designation program in the two states.

The three, one-day CPIA workshops — Position for Success, Implement for Success and Sustain Success — have been created to teach practical before-, during- and after-the-sale techniques and strategies. The courses help insurance producers, sales managers, account managers and company marketing representatives deliver better service and protection for businesses and individuals.

Lobell has served on the board of directors of the Professional Insurance Agents of Louisiana, as charter president of the Young Insurance Agents of Louisiana from 1998 to 2000, as president again in 2002-2003, and as PIA of Louisiana representative to the Louisiana Insurance Education Advisory Council.

She was the PIA of Baton Rouge 1999 Agent of the Year and has been honored with the 2001 American Association of Managing General Agents Association Achievement Award and the 2002 Insurance Woman of the Year Award.
