MetLife Auto & Home has announced it will be supplementing its product line in Texas by introducing GrandProtect, a personal lines “package” policy. The product will be available to Texas residents as of November 15.
GrandProtect, a proprietary product for the company, is designed to provide personal insurance protection for consumers with more complex insurance needs and offers the ability to have auto, home, and other personal insurance policies in one package with one bill, one renewal date, and one deductible. It also provides additional coverages that usually require add-ons or endorsements, including higher built-in limits for jewelry, silverware, and collectibles; worldwide liability coverage for rental cars; and identity theft coverage.
“GrandProtect is designed for customers who are looking to simplify their financial lives,” said Lorie Huber, MetLife Auto & Home’s Regional Sales Director in Texas. “Many Texas residents need policies for various items such as autos, homes, vacation homes, and an RV or boat, not to mention an umbrella policy, to make sure they’re completely covered. GrandProtect simplifies this process and eliminates the hassles and worries that come from dealing with multiple renewal dates, bills, and deductibles.”
The GrandProtect product is being offered to qualified MetLife Auto & Home’s agents. MetLife auto & home products are available through several distribution sources, including independent agents and dedicated MetLife agents, including property and casualty specialists and MetLife Financial Service representatives.
